AWCS circle: Round 2

Do you remember when you were a kid and watched the same movie over and over again because you loved it so much? That's how I'm feeling about hosting this circle! I enjoyed so much having these conversations and reading this book that I'll be hosting a second circle.

This second circle will start on the week of April 12th, the day and time to be determined by those who sign up below and will last 10 weeks. I'll be announcing the final details on Friday, April 9th. The circle will be a videocall again because I really appreciated being able to have people from different places sharing their perspectives and experiences, and also, we're still in a pandemic. We'll be reading one chapter each week, and meeting once a week for about 1:30 hrs.

If this sounds like a manageable time commitment, sign up below! If you're curious but would like to know a bit more before you sign up, check out my weekly blog posts from my first circle. If you'd like to join but are a bit shy about talking about climate change with potential strangers, invite a friend to join you!

The conversation is guided by a weekly reading of the book "All We Can Save", an anthology edited by Ayana Elizabeth Johnson and Katharine Wilkinson. You can buy a physical copy of the book, or you can get a digital copy, wherever you purchase books from. The book is also available as an audiobook, wherever you get your audiobooks from.

Here's a couple of reviews I received from those who attended the first circle:

"Elena is a community builder. This circle helped me reflect, exchange ideas in a friendly inclusive environment. I can't wait to see how it grows and I will be happy to support it. Elena, 5 stars!" - R

"Taking part in this Circle was a great experience. Being able to connect with such a diverse group of people every week helped me understand all the different perspectives of the climate problem (AND potential solutions). I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to do something for the environment but is unsure of what to tackle and how to start. Meeting content and duration is really convenient even for busy professionals, all you have to do is read one chapter a week and join the 1.5 hr. videoconference." - A
